Tidbits from a Toddler

1. Mommy won't let me wear this helmet in public and I can't understand why.

2. Why have I only just learned about the "germ pit"?

3. And all of the other fun toys/friends at My Gym?

4. I'm really happy for my Daddy...

5. Because he got to go to a party with Grammie and Grandpie! Oh yeah, and he graduated. People talked. I said "Hi" to the baby and "Good night" to the bunny (at the Botanical Gardens).

6. And boy are we pooped!

We had a wonderful time at our good friends' James & Rebecca's wedding! Patrick was a groomsman for our friend, James, whom we have known since high school. (technically Pat has known him since P.A.C.E. an acronym for smart in elementary school) It started out with a plane ride... Belle was fascinated & SUCH a good girl! She even napped!

We took a cold & wet tour of the city & settled on the largest bookstore - Powell's, where cousin Derek read Belle many a book upon request.

Belle got to meet Aunt Aimee, Uncle Brad, cousin Alexa & cousin Derek!

Aunt Shelley (whose name Belle says now!) and Uncle Brandon were there too! And she experienced her first waterfall sighting! Phew!

And onto the wedding...

Now for the anecdotes. Belle had a few choice moments.

The Rabbi sang, and in the hushed, anticipatory silence before the ceremony began, Belle said, "Yay! Yay!" It's always nice to congratulate the Rabbi on a job well done.

She mistakenly went up a woman's skirt, and said, "Oh, pardon me." She is nothing if not polite.

Danny has been talking about the day Belle says his nick-name for months, and much to everyone's amusement she honored him at the wedding by saying, "Uncle Bananas!"

Then we all kicked off our shoes and danced! Belle's favorite was "Celebrate".

Finally it was time for mama and baby to go to bed. It took an hour with a calming bath, snack and "Cat Movie" to coax this little party animal to sleep. She could have danced the night away!
