Mini Mommy

As my last post stated, I have noticed that Belle is becoming a very big girl lately. Case in point:

Trying on Mommy's high heels has become a morning ritual.

This morning, she also requested a "headbe" (headband) and a "buck" (buckle = belt).

And even more sophisticated, here she is reading my poetry book.

And speaking of books...! She does this and then puts them all "away, away".

Her other favorite thing to "read"? Her photo album. In which she identifies all of the people she loves (she likes to say their name, often followed by "bow?")

The final "big girl" addiction? Katy Perry. Particularly "Firework". I'm trying to capture her dancing to it on film. So far, I giggle too much to do so. She can recognize the song from the first note, and she recognizes Katy Perry's voice no matter what song it is. Even if it's one she's never heard before. She identifies her by saying "Baby" and doing her dancing finger. She also mentions "moon", as in "brighter than the moon, moon, moon". (Disclaimer: I do not own a Katy Perry CD. She knows this from the radio)

Big Girl

They say, "you blink, and she's 18". I can absolutely see how that is true. Especially when I see this:

"go, go, go go"

And here she is eating breakfast like a big girl.

But then I see this, and can't help but remember how tiny she is, despite her big personality. ;)
