I Saw The Sign

I shared a creamcicle with Belle today - she's never had that before & she loved it! (of course) She loved it so much that she signed "food"! I congratulated her, which made her very happy (claps all around). Every time I put the popscicle in my mouth, she signed "more"!

Then Daddy came home & it was "more" Daddy! "More" Daddy!

Crawling!

Belle crawled (a little) yesterday! She gets on her hands and knees and then bounces until she moves forward. She also went from laying on her tummy to sitting up all by herself! Today, Grandma said Belle spooned her food into her mouth. She is growing so much!

Small Pleasures

Daddy discovered that Belle likes to have her legs tickled at bedtime.

8:00am again

I think this early morning nap is becoming habitual. This morning, Belle woke up at 5:30 or so and I tried rocking her back to sleep. As I was putting her back in her crib she cried, "Mommy!" I have to admit, it was precious and she didn't have to go back in her crib after that. She also clapped yesterday for the first time!

Belated Belle

It's 8:00am and Belle is already down for her first nap. Sleeping peacefully in the swing - just like when she was tiny. I should probably start my day while she sleeps, but first a few belated photos from the fourth of July:

We only let her play with Patriotic toys that day.

Nothin' more American than a cell phone

We started the day off at Grandma and Grandpa's. I think we were there by 9:30am. From there, we went to the Boughton's (Pat's cousin) & then we left the little one with Grandma and Grandpa while we went to a BBQ at one of the newly graduated resident's house. It was such a fun day! We all took 2 hour naps (separately)  to make it through.

And now it's off to clean my house for my Eclipse Party. I realize that has nothing to so with Belle, but I do love me some Twilight.

Fudge and pops!

So, I'm sure you've all heard the news (since I practically shouted from the rooftops) Belle says "Dada"! I am quite happy for them both.
